This is my new range I have introduced this last spring and summer.  They have been a real hit. They are frost proof and have copper feet and aluminium legs.  However, I also do "roosting" hens too.  The ideas for the hens are based on the breed Rhode Island Reds.  There is a farm shop not far from where I live where I would watch about 20 or 30 of them and their antics.  I was so enchanted with their colour, shape and their playfulness, it inspired me to have a go at reproducing them in clay.  I had no idea chickens had such personality.
